ABC Podcasts is the home of compelling, entertaining and distinctive podcasts for an audience on-the-go.  

Audio Studios is the ABC’s specialist podcast production unit. We create and commission distinctive, award-winning, podcasts that span genres from true crime and comedy to parenting, health and sexuality. Our slate includes hit shows like Mushroom Case Daily, Conversations, Walkley-winning true crime investigations from Unravel, and 2024 'podcast of the year' Ladies We Need To Talk.

Before pitching a podcast series, please look over our suite of podcasts to ensure you're pitching something new. 

We're looking for podcasts that: 

• Are original, entertaining and distinctive  
• Appeal to a targeted audience  
• Use a unique style, a format native to podcasting, and sustain across a series 
• Reflect contemporary Australia 
• Can find passionate followers who will share the word 

Genres that are of interest are: 

• Comedy  
• Entertainment  
• Personal growth 
• True Crime  

We are not looking for podcasts that:  

• Duplicate our current podcast output 
• Promote a business or commercial activity
